Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing Management
Are you interested in learning how humans make buying decisions and what advertisements and marketing campaigns do to get people to buy something?
How about seeing trends in consumer behaviour using technology and Big Data? A B.Com. in Marketing Management (NQF Level 7) is an undergraduate degree that gives you the skills and knowledge you need to go into the field of marketing after you graduate. With this degree, you’ll learn about the psychology of consumer behaviour, how to use market research through predictive analytics and Big Data, and think about new ways to market products using Search Engine Optimisation.
What careers are available
for this degree?
This degree can open many doors and career possibilities. While many marketing programmes may focus on traditional marketing methods, new technology and innovation are changing the way businesses work. From AI and refining how they use big data to connecting with consumers on their own terms and building brand loyalty with authentic storytelling, future marketers will need to flex their expertise in various fields including advanced robotics (think Tesla), additive manufacturing, augmented reality, predictive analytics (think Google), Big Data, Internet of Things, and systems integration. A degree in marketing would allow you to work with technology to consider how to best reach your target audience.
